Build Games That Matter

Real game development skills taught by people who've actually shipped games. No corporate buzzwords, just honest training that prepares you for what the industry actually looks like.

We've Been Where You Want to Go

After spending years debugging Unity crashes at 2 AM and explaining to publishers why that "simple feature" would take three weeks, we realized something. Most game development education doesn't prepare you for the reality of actually making games.

So we built something different. Our courses focus on the messy, complicated stuff that happens between having an idea and shipping a game that people actually play.

  • Learn from people who've shipped commercial games, not just taught about them
  • Work on projects that mirror real development challenges
  • Understand the business side that nobody talks about in tutorials
  • Get comfortable with the tools studios actually use

What Our Students Actually Say

Portrait of Xerxes student

Xerxes Ptolemy

Unity Fundamentals, 2024

"The debugging sessions were brutal, but that's exactly what I needed. When I started my internship, I wasn't shocked by how different real development is from YouTube tutorials."

Cleopatra Vespasian

Mobile Game Development, 2024

"They taught me things I never would have learned from online courses - like why your perfectly running game suddenly breaks when you try to build for Android."

How We Actually Teach Game Development

Foundation Phase

Start with the basics, but the right basics. We skip the "make a ball bounce" tutorials and jump into understanding game loops, state management, and why your frame rate suddenly drops.

Production Reality

Work on projects with actual constraints - deadlines, memory limits, and changing requirements. This is where you learn that game development is problem-solving, not following tutorials.

10-12 weeks
2

Specialization Track

Focus on what interests you most - whether that's mobile optimization, multiplayer systems, or making indie games that don't look like programmer art.

Ready to Start Learning?

Our next cohort begins in September 2025. We keep classes small - usually around 12 students - because game development isn't something you can learn in a massive lecture hall.

Applications typically take 2-3 weeks to review. We're looking for people who are serious about learning, not just collecting certificates.
